在進入里佳部落之前，大約在「169縣道」49公里處，有一座木棧平臺。循一旁木棧階梯而下，隨即進入一片楓樹林。其中有隸屬械科的青楓，也有金縷梅科的楓香。除了楓紅時節為山景增色之外，還可以看到楓香那如刺球般的効果。
